Three pamphlets are to be launched in the shrine-town of Little Walsingham, published by ‘a domestic press’, Dow House. It promises to be A GRAND AFFAIR, & all are welcome, though it is a little far-flung. The pamphlets are conceived in the manner of the Ariel pamphlets, & are illustrated and hand-printed in four hues. My pamphlet, Ithaca, is illustrated by Josephine Marston, with Penelope shunning the suitors on the cover & a malevolent world-serpent in frontispiece.
A grand affair
