Dan Eltringham

About

I’m a writer, scholar and critic, as well as a translator and editor. Poetry is central, but I also write about culture, art, politics and history. I’m especially interested in cultural landscapes, ecology and environment, particularly in the UK and the US, Latin America, and Spain.

I have published critical books and essays, poetry, translations, and collaborations with artists. I write also features and long-form essays. I co-edit the (very) small Girasol Press, which explores book arts and experimental approaches to translation. I enjoy collaborating on projects, organising events and readings, curating exhibitions, and leading workshops. I’m also available for translation (from Spanish) and editorial work, including copy-editing and proofreading.
